What You Can Do To Support Women And Girls Worldwide

WFDA's mission is to catalyze a diverse movement in support of empowering women and girls in the developing world.

Here's how you can lend your voice:

  1. Join the WFDA movement:  Get news, actions and ways to stay involved by subscribing to our e-news updates. 
  2. Get your friends, co-workers and family to sign up and join the movement too. To email them a personal invitation, click here.
  3. Make your own commitment:  Tell us why you think women and girls around the world are key to ending global poverty, and why that's important to you.  Click here to make Your Commitment, 0r you can spread the word by blogging about WFDA on your own blog.
  4. Ask your community or faith leader to dedicate an address or service to the advancement of women and girls. Click here for information, statistics and more.
  5. If you are a religious leader, read and sign the Inter-Religious Commitment. 
  6. Invest in women and girls: it pays!
    Donate to the four co-conveners of WFDA to help keep the movement going forward.  Or consider a contribution to a WFDA member organization working on a specific issue you are interested in like women's economic opportunity, girl's education, women's literacy, maternal health, or women's leadership.
